SplitEase ("we", "our", or "the app") is a free bill splitting and tip calculator app developed by RJ App Studio. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.
Short version: SplitEase works completely offline. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. All values you enter stay on your device only and are never sent anywhere.
2. Data we collect
SplitEase does not collect any personally identifiable information. The values you enter into the app — such as bill amounts, number of people, or tip percentages — are used only to calculate results on your device in real time. These values are never transmitted to any server, database, or third party.

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any analytics that identifies individual users.
3. What we do NOT collect
We explicitly do not collect any of the following:
- Name, email address, phone number, or any contact information
- Device identifiers (IMEI, Advertising ID, etc.)
- Location data (GPS or IP-based)
- Camera or microphone data
- Contacts or calendar information
- Financial account details or payment information
- Transaction history or spending data
- Usage behaviour, clicks, or session recordings
- Crash logs sent to our servers
4. App permissions
SplitEase requests no special Android permissions. The app does not ask for access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, storage, or any other sensitive device feature.
Permissions requested: None. SplitEase works fully offline with zero device permissions.
5. Third-party services
The current version of SplitEase does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics platforms, or social login services.
If future versions of the app include optional services (such as Google AdMob for ads or Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting), this policy will be updated before such services are activated, and users will be notified via an app update.
Note: If ads are added in a future update, Google AdMob may collect anonymised advertising data as per Google's Privacy Policy. We will update this policy accordingly before enabling any ads.
6. Children's privacy
SplitEase is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since the app collects no personal data from any user, it presents no data risk to any age group.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us. We will take appropriate steps to address your concern promptly.
7. Financial disclaimer
Important: SplitEase provides bill splitting, tip, GST, and discount calculations for general convenience only.
All results are estimates based on values you enter and are not financial advice. SplitEase does not process, initiate, or facilitate any financial transactions or payments.
Always verify calculated amounts before making any payment. RJ App Studio is not responsible for any payment disputes, errors, or losses arising from the use of SplitEase.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
Continued use of the app after any changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
